MRF health check Axion Consulting and 360 Environmental have joined forces to offer a 'health check' service for MRFs. MASS - Material Analysis and Sampling Service Axion Consulting has significant expertise in the waste sector based upon hands-on testing and analysis of many varied types of waste material streams. We have applied our learning about sampling frequency, design of sampling methods and optimising sample size to everything from waste plastic pots and trays to mixed bread, cakes and doughnuts. Our new MASS service identifies and applies the correct statistical sampling models to each particular waste stream to determine the composition of infeed materials and allow the effective optimisation of the sorting technologies used. CART - Compliance Assessment Review Tool Axion Consulting and 360 Environmental are working in partnership to help MRF operators understand and comply with the latest waste legislation. Drawing on its experience as an operator is the waste industry, Axion can asses the legal and functional aspects of compliance to provide a practical report. 360 Environmental can offer expertise in helping companies to understand and comply with waste permitting and waste planning issues, and WEEE batteries compliance. As part of the CART, we will review documentation (including licences and permits) and procedures to validate a site's compliance performance. Carbon Footprint Expert
Axion Consulting has several consultants registered by the Carbon Trust as qualified operators of its Footprint Expert calculation software. Recofloor Vinyl Flooring Take-Back Scheme Axion is agent for a new vinyl flooring take-back scheme called Recofloor. The scheme has been founded by two leading flooring manufacturers, Altro and Polyflor. Through the scheme, smooth and safety flooring offcuts from the installation process and smooth uplifted vinyl are collected and processed.
